About the Meta Tag & Share Preview
Your title tag and meta description are the first things people see about your page on Google. Google cuts them by pixel width rather than by a fixed number of characters — roughly 580 pixels for a desktop title and about 920 pixels for a description — so this tool measures the real width of your text, including Nepali Devanagari.
When someone shares your link on Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp or Viber, those apps read Open Graph tags instead. The tool shows both previews and writes all the tags for you.
How to use the Meta Tag & Share Preview
- Type the page title. The bar turns green when the length is right and red when Google would cut it.
- Write the meta description: one or two sentences that make people want to click.
- Add the page URL, your brand name and a 1200 × 630 share image URL.
- Switch between Google result and Social share to see both previews.
- Copy the meta tags and paste them inside the <head> of your page, or into your CMS's SEO fields.
Tips
- Put the main keyword near the start of the title and your brand at the end.
- Every page needs its own title and description — never reuse them.
- Google sometimes rewrites titles and descriptions; a clear, accurate one is rewritten less often.

How long should an SEO title be?
Aim for about 50–60 characters. Google cuts titles by width (around 580 pixels on desktop), so wide letters like W and M use up space faster. Put your main keyword first and your brand name last.
How long should a meta description be?
About 150–160 characters, or around 920 pixels. The description doesn't directly change rankings, but a clear one makes more people click your result.
Why does Facebook show the wrong image or old text?
Facebook stores a copy of each link. Add an og:image of 1200 × 630 pixels, then open Facebook's Sharing Debugger and click 'Scrape Again' to refresh it.
Does this work with Nepali text?
Yes. The preview measures the actual width of the text in your browser, so Devanagari titles and descriptions are measured correctly.
