No. This tool uses live market reference rates. NRB publishes official buying and selling rates every day on its website, and banks use their own rates based on them. Use this converter for quick estimates and check your bank or NRB for the exact rate.
Why is the rate I get from a bank different?
Banks and remittance companies buy currency at a lower rate and sell at a higher one, and they may add service fees. The reference rate here sits close to the middle of those two prices.
How often are the rates updated?
The reference rates refresh daily. Exchange rates can move during the day, so for large transfers confirm the rate with your bank at the time of the transaction.
