About the Local Business Schema Generator

LocalBusiness schema is structured data — a small block of code that tells Google your business name, address, phone, opening hours and social profiles in a format machines understand. It helps Google connect your website with your business across Search and Maps.

This generator is set up for Nepal: the seven provinces, +977 phone numbers and a Sunday-to-Friday working week by default.

How to use the Local Business Schema Generator

  1. Choose your business type and enter the name, website, phone and email.
  2. Fill in the address with city, province and postal code. Add map coordinates if you know them.
  3. Select opening days and hours. Sunday to Friday is set by default for Nepal.
  4. Add your Facebook, Instagram and other profile links.
  5. Copy the code, paste it into the <head> of your home or contact page, then test it with Google's Rich Results Test.

Tips

  • Use exactly the same name, address and phone as on your Google Business Profile and Facebook page.
  • Phone numbers are saved in international +977 format automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What is LocalBusiness schema?

A JSON-LD code block, defined by schema.org, that describes your business. Search engines read it to understand who you are, where you are and when you're open.

Will it put my business on Google Maps?

Not by itself. To appear on Maps, create a free Google Business Profile. Use exactly the same name, address and phone in the schema, the profile and on Facebook.

Where do I paste the code?

Inside the <head> of your home page or contact page. If you have several branches, give each branch its own page and its own schema.

How do I check it works?

Paste your page URL into Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator. Both are free and linked under the code.
